Younit Los Angeles is an E-commerce platform that connects boutique owners to quality and exclusive wholesale merchandise. Younit aims to educate and guide business owners through their journey. They accomplish this by putting the community first over anything else. They understand that sometimes you need a friend in your corner rooting for you the most.
I structured the company from the inside and out. I designed a visual identity that would be recognizable and ownable in the e-commerce market. We honed in on the idea of being welcoming and unapologetically upbeat. These values helped us craft a striking color palette, typography treatments, and overall art direction.







Connecting With An Audience
At the beginning of the website we designed an animated experience for the user. We gave them a brief description of some of Younit’s beliefs. From the beginning we want the user to understand Younits mission statement and begin to establish the brands tone of voice.
Product Overview
Selling the product as best as possible is our main priority. To do so, we designed a shopping interface that was not common in the wholesale marketplace. We created
an interactive image gallery in each collection page.This feature made it easy for the user to see the collection as a whole, VS the traditional approach of scrolling through a variety of images.
Creating Demand
We built a unique shopping experience by creating demand. Every collection that's uploaded on Younit is unique, but it won't be there forever. There is a countdown on each product that reminds the shopper how much time they have before it's gone.
